We welcome beginners in our Contemporary 1 at 5:45pm class.
​
Beginners who meet the age requirements and are interested in our Intermediate/Advanced Contemporary 2 at 7pm class should
attend our Contemporary 1 class first.
Our teacher will then decide which class is best suited. This is to give our students the best experience possible.

Contemporary - Beginner/Intermediate:
5:45 PM – 6:450 PM
Ages 7+
Class 2
Contemporary - Intermediate/Advanced (experience required):
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Ages 9-15
(more based on experience instead of age.)​

Contemporary Dance Classes for children(7+ and 9+)

Our Contemporary dance classes are influenced by Modern dance practices . Graham, Cunningham, Limon and Release and improvisation techniques of the 20 C . Contemporary dance is a theatrical dance style and prepares dancers for performing .
​
Our 7+ class welcomes all beginners, providing a fun and supportive environment where children can explore the world of Contemporary Dance at their own pace. Through technical exercises, students will learn the foundations of theatrical dancing giving them an opportunity to be stage ready as well as explore creative dancing.

For those aged 9+, this class is perfect for dancers who may have a bit more experience or are eager to dive deeper into their learning. We still welcome beginners, but this class is designed for children ready to challenge themselves with more dynamic movements and focused training. It's all about building skills, confidence, and a deeper passion for dance!
