How it works

1. Keep your Crew Class (your regular weekly class — not interchangeable).

2. Add Academy Classes (flexible extra sessions during the week).

3. Follow the Programme (clear goals, reps, feedback, and check-ins).

Schedule

Crew Classes (weekly, fixed):

• Mon Canal Club 4:30–5:30

• Tue Round Chapel 4:30–5:30

• Tue Round Chapel 5:45–7:30

Academy Classes (additional — choose flexibly):

• Mon Breaking Academy Canal Club 5:00–6:00

• Wed Acro + Open Session (Round Chapel) 4:30–6:30

• Thu Breaking Hackney Wick 5:00–6:00

• Fri Breaking 5:30–6:30

Why multiple days = faster progress

• Repetition without the wait: fix timing, angles, and shapes mid-week.

• Spaced learning: better retention, cleaner execution, safer skills.

• Shared standards: everyone learns the same foundational moves faster.

Term focus (Sept–Dec)

Strong, shared basics. From January, Academy access prioritises students who can demonstrate the foundations below.
We’ll provide video tutorials for all regular classes (expanded version for Academy students).

Toprock: Indian Step, Crossover Step, Salsa Step
Go-downs: Corkscrew, Knee Drop, Walk-In, Back Walk-In
Footwork: Front (Monkey Swings, Hooks, CCs, Shoot-Outs, Coffee Grinders); Back (Shuffles, Salsa Walk, Merengue, Up & Overs, Bicycle Pumps, Back Step, Inward/Outward Pretzels); Circular (both directions), 6-Step, 6-Up Step, 3-Step, 4-Step, 12-Step
Freezes: Stab Freeze (head down, leg off), Baby Freeze, Shoulder Freeze, Frog Stand, Headstand

Do we still attend our regular class?
Yes. Your Crew Class remains your consistent weekly session and isn’t interchangeable.

What are Academy Classes?
Extra sessions you can add during the week to accelerate progress, with a structured programme and checkpoints.

Can we pay up front?
Yes — you can pay the full £260 instead of monthly.

Does the payment continue after December?
No. Payments stop after 19 Dec unless you sign up for the next term.

What happens if we miss a week?

The Academy gives you more touchpoints across the week; missing one doesn’t derail progress.
